Catch an exhibit of artfully-carved pumpkins and watch artist Marion Nichols demonstrate her techniques

Just in time for Halloween inspiration, come see an exhibit of intricately-carved pumpkin masterpieces and watch artist Marion Nichols demonstrate the art of pumpkin-carving, visit the historic Heald Home from 1 – 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 27. Nichols, nicknamed “The Snowflake Lady,” is known for her innovative paper snowflake-making workshops at the St. Louis City Museum downtown.

The event is for all ages, and the cost of $2 per person at the door includes a house tour. The Heald Home is located in Fort Zumwalt Park at 1000 Jessup Drive, O’Fallon MO 63366. Directions to the exhibit: On I-70, take Exit 217 at Highways K / M (Main Street) in O’Fallon, drive south on Highway K for one block to the stoplight at Veterans Memorial Parkway; turn right (west) and drive about one mile to the Fort Zumwalt Park entrance on the left.
