Free St. Charles County Senior Fair highlights services available to seniors

O’Fallon seniors and family members, don’t miss out on the 5th Annual St. Charles County Senior Fair, which will be held from 9 a.m. – noon on Saturday, November 9, at St. Peters City Hall, One Centre Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Admission and parking are free! This year’s fair is sponsored and planned by the St. Peters Senior Advisory Committee with assistance from O’Fallon’s Senior Resident Advisory Committee.

More than 40 vendors will offer products or services for seniors such as home health care, non-emergency medical transportation and helpful municipal programs. A mini-veterans fair with representatives from different veterans groups be on hand to assist veterans. At 10 a.m., St. Peters Police Officer Melissa Doss will give a presentation, “Senior Fraud.” Vendor raffles will be held throughout the day with opportunities for seniors to win prizes, gift cards and giveaways. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Family members are not only welcome, they are encouraged to accompany seniors to the event.

Flu shots will be available for $25; seniors should bring their insurance information. Medicare is accepted and receipts will be provided for other insurance reimbursement.
