O'Fallon's "Making a Difference" Blood Drive

Can you help save a life or three? If you are at least 17 years old and healthy, please donate blood on Friday, October 18, between 11a.m. and 3 p.m. at the O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall), 100 North Main Street, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366. O’Fallon’s “Making a Difference Blood Drive” will collect donations of whole blood and double-red blood cells.

Taking a few minutes to donate whole blood can help as many as three people survive a life-threatening trauma or health condition,” said Kathy Halstead, Manager of Volunteer Services. “Double-red cell donations are especially important to surgical patients and those with cancer or chronic blood disorders.”

Refreshments will be served immediately following donations. Donors must show a photo I.D. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments can lessen the waiting time and help with staffing. For an appointment, contact O’Fallon’s Volunteer Services Department at 636-379-5507 or volunteer@ofallon.mo.us. For more information, visit www.ofallon.mo.us/volunteer.
