Zombies are needed for the O’FallonTheatreWorks production of an original play, Please Remain Calm

If you’ve ever wanted to play the part of a zombie, come to the O’FallonTheatreWorks auditions for Please Remain Calm at noon on Sunday, August 18.  Written by O’Fallon author Carole Lanham, the play about a family doing its best to survive zombie attacks is part scary, part comedy, definitely tongue-in-check and totally fun. The auditions will be held at the O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall), 100 North Main Street, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366.The play will be performed on October 25-27 and November 1-3.

Actors and actresses of all ages are needed to portray zombies. There are also roles for 13 people: five men age 25 and older, eight women age 20 and up, and three teenaged girls, 13-18. The audition will consist of cold readings from the script. No prepared monologues are required.

Volunteers also are needed. For more information or to volunteer for crew support, costuming, etc., contact Darren Granaas, O’Fallon’s Cultural Arts Coordinator, at 636-474-8150 or dgranaas@ofallon.mo.us.
