Gay Marriage?

First of all the term Gay means 1. having or showing a merry , lively mood. 2. Bright colors. 3. Given to or abounding in social or other pleasures.  4. licentious, dissipated wanton.  I saw no definition meaning homosexual for gay in my dictionary.  I have already given a definition of marriage so I will not do so here.

Given the above definition then the term Gay Marriage would indicate a very happy couple who engage in social activities.  The couple would be a male and female.  So in reality if you want the title should be Happy Marriage?

A happy marriage is one where the man and woman work together to bring harmony to the household.  Sure they fight but when it comes to major decisions they are both in agreement.  I know of no couple who  do not fight it is just that they don't allow the arguments to get into the public eye.

A homosexual marriage is an oxymoron term.  The purpose of marriage is procreation not just feeling good.  Man to Man produces no children.  Woman to Woman produces no children.  Hence no marriage.

A civil union is possible between same genders but that would fall into the hands of the Justice system and not part of this blog.  Legally the courts have the right to make whatever decision they want as long as they can back it up by Civil Law, Precedents, or getting people to create the law.  Religious Law is a different matter.

Religious Law gets it's authority from the Bible and centuries of Tradition.  The Bible states a marriage is between a Man and a Woman.  God joined them and said "Be fruitful and multiply."  This does not sound like a homosexual marriage to me.  Does the Justice System have authority over Religious Law?  That crosses the line between Church and State.  The answer is NO!!!

The Supreme Court can only decide if a law violates the Constitution of the United States.  Religions must keep with the Traditions, Laws, and Regulations they have created to maintain their faith.  The Supreme Court cannot dictate to Religious Leaders anything that falls into Church Law.  Civil Law? That is the turf of Lawyers and other idiots.
It has been suggested that the fall of Rome was due to homosexual conduct.  Nothing I have found could be farther from the truth.  Rome failed due to the fact they could not and would not separate Church and State.  They also failed to see the end result of incest.  So those two items really caused Rome to Fail.

What does Rome have to do with this?  Roman Laws allowed Homosexual Marriage.  Roman Senate (Congress) dictated what the Church could do.  This is happening in our Country today.

I will return to the topic of Gay Marriage?  If you mean Homosexual Marriage then that is not possible.  If you mean a Happy Marriage then that is possible.
