Holiday Creep

Has anyone out there noticed the creep of Holidays?  I am talking about the fact that in August you have Halloween being set up along side of Christmas.  Halloween is in October for Pete's sake so lets leave that one until the End of September.
Christmas is in December yet I see signs up as early as June saying don't forget Christmas shopping.

I have also seen signs up that say Christmas is only XXX days away.  I am not against the signs, per se, but I am against them being displayed in June.  Heck the 4th of July hasn't even been celebrated at this point.  This is not even talking about Thanksgiving, Halloween, or any other holiday before Christmas.  This is all about Christmas.

Having been born during the holiday rush I share my birthday with a holiday every year.  I am not against the holiday but I would like to see some respect shown to those who are born either during the rush or on any holiday during the fall season.  Yes we were born on; Thanksgiving, Kwanza, Yule, Christmas, Halloween, etc... but when it comes to celebrating a birthday/holiday most would like to see it celebrated on that day not all the way back in June, July, August, September, etc...  I hope you get the point.

Christmas is a December Holiday not any other time of the year.  Thanksgiving is a November Holiday, not any other time of the year.  Halloween is an October celebration, not any other time of the year.  All anyone who is born during the months of October, November, or December is asking of anyone out there is to celebrate the holiday with the month.  If you can't make it during the month of whatever then why would you want to spread it out over the rest of the year?

Christmas creep has been going on since I was a child.  Lets see what we as consumers can do to stop it.  After all Christmas is only 44 days away.  Must shop now until I drop or the stores will be closed before I can finish.  Really? Really?!!!
