U.S. Economy

What is going on with the U.S. Economy?  I look at exchange Rates for overseas currency and find that the dollar is worth a lot less overseas than it has been since 2002.  I also note that as a country we have had no budget since President Obama took office.  Is there a connection?

The Congress of the United States is charged with Fiscal responsibility for the entire Country.  Surprise!! Congress has passed a thing called a Continuing Resolution, CR, to keep the government running.  We have had no budget, no fiscal control, no nothing to prevent our Congress from overspending what we take in.  As a matter of fact the latest crisis was due solely to the fact that we have no budget.  Period end of Sentence.

Congress is out of control on Spending and everything else.  As far as I can see they can only kick the can down the road for another few months.  Where is the responsibility in that?  Representative Beohner who is the current Speaker of the House has made no move to pass any kind of budget.  Vice President Biden is in the same boat.  Neither leader has attempted to pass a budget.  Why don't they?

Basically it is due to the fact that Congress is enjoying the crisis after crisis that they create just to stay in the news.  After all elections are coming up and they must be seen in order to get re-elected in the next election.  Maybe they will come up with a budget next year.  Oh wait there  is another crisis looming so they will have to deal with that first.  Budget? We don't get a stinking Budget.  We get crisis after crisis after crisis, etc... 

Congress where is your leadership?
