17-Year-Old Punched 13-Year-Old in Eye Twice, Deputy Says
A St. Charles County Sheriff's Deputy said the Randy K. Voerg Jr and the boy argued and Voerg hit the youth in the eye.
A 17-year-old St. Charles County man is accused of punching a 13-year-old boy in the eye on March 8.
Randy K. Voerg Jr., 17, was charged March 11 with third-degree assault. His address was listed as being in the first block of Barberry Lane in St. Charles County near O’Fallon.
A St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy reported that Voerg and the child had a verbal argument in the 100 block of Tee Kay Drive in St. Charles County near O'Fallon. Voerg became enraged, crossed the street and twice punched the 13-year-old in the eye, according to the report.

The boy’s eye was swollen and bruised, the deputy said. The deputy also said Voerg is significantly bigger than the 13-year-old.
Voerg is being held in St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $1,500, and he is to have no contact with the victim. Voerg also cannot reside in the same neighborhood as the victim.
