Couple Drove Stolen Truck From Wyoming, O'Fallon Police Say

Police said a passenger in the truck also had brass knuckles, syringes and stolen credit cards.

arrested a couple Aug. 8 for driving a pickup truck reported stolen in Wyoming.

Joshua Lewis, 27,  of Gillette, WY, was charged Aug. 9 with first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle, a 2002 Chevrolet 1500 pickup.

A passenger, Bobbi Jo Black, 32, also of Gillette, WY, was charged with second-degree tampering with another’s property, possessing an illegal weapon and drug paraphernalia. Police said she had brass knuckles and syringes.

O’Fallon Police said in a report that Black had credit cars and other property of the trucks' owner. The credit cards had been used since the vehicle was stolen, but not in Missouri, according to the report.

Police said the two were arrested about 6:15 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 800 block of Belleau Creek Road in .

Bond was set at $25,000 cash only for Lewis and $7,500 for Black.
