Darius L. Walls, of O'Fallon, suffered minor injuries after he was hit by a car along Interstate 70 near the Highway K exit. The three-car crash was a result of a semi-truck hitting a car parked on the shoulder of I-70.

A 2012 International Prostar semi-truck driven by Patrick Sheppard, 42, of Ethel, LA, was eastbound also and struck the disabled car. The Firebird then struck a pedestrian, Darius L. Walls, 23, of O'Fallon.
