Warrants Issued For Man O’Fallon Police Found With Drugs

According to court documents, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Nicholas J. Thrasher, of Troy, on March 2.

The St. Charles County Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant for the arrest of a Troy man on felony drug possession charges on March 2.

According to a probable cause statement, an O'Fallon police officer responded to a call of an unresponsive man at Pearl Drive and TR Hughes Boulevard on Oct. 7, 2011 .

When the officer arrived, Nicholas J. Thrasher, of Troy, was lying on the ground, partially inside a car.

Court documents state the officer found a strong pulse and after rubbing the man's sternum, he opened his eyes.

The O’Fallon officer asked if Thrasher took anything that would make him unresponsive, and the man replied "Heroin."

Paramedics arrived, and the officer searched him to make sure it was safe for the paramedics to treat him.

Police found a capped syringe and a plastic baggie with six capsules containing an off-white powder. The man was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Bond is set at $10,0000 cash only.
