UPDATE: Former Fort Zumwalt Student, Mother Shot to Death
A former Fort Zumwalt student and her mother were shot to death in California. Police don't have a motive, but don't believe a killer is on the loose.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Amy Freeman Burton, 37, and her 13-year-old daughter Ainsley Freeman, a former Fort Zumwalt student, were found shot to death in their San Francisco area home Monday.

According to the Pleasanton, CA Patch, Police do not believe that incident has anything to do with Monday's deaths.
Freeman Burton's mother, Linda Walp, lives in Chesterfield and said her daughter received death threats after police were notified about 13-year-old Ainsley communicating with that Kentucky teenager, according to the Post-Dispatch.

Walp said her daughter and granddaughter moved from O'Fallon, MO, to California in December because Burton's husband had been relocated there for work, the Post-Dispatch reported. According to the report, Ainsley attended the in Ballwin and then the Fort Zumwalt South Middle School in St. Peters.
So far two Facebook pages have been created in Ainsely's memory: RipAinsleyFreeman and AinsleyFreemanneverforgotten.
