Man Beat and Bit Wife, O'Fallon Police Say

The bite mark drew blood, and the woman's eye was swollen shut, according to a police report.

An man faces criminal charges for beating and biting his wife, O’Fallon Police said.

Freddie Lee Watson Jr, 23, of the 2300 block of Oak Meadow Drive, was charged Wednesday with third-degree domestic assault.

said Watson punched his wife several times in the face and bit her on the forearm, leaving teeth marks and drawing blood. The victim’s eye also was swollen shut, according to the report.

Bond for Watson was set at 25,000, cash only.
