Man Charged With Damaged Trailers by Stripping Wires
Police said the man stole wire buildings at Pac-Van Inc. in O'Fallon.
A man was charged Monday with stealing wire from trailers at an O’Fallon business.
said in a report that Leonard Spencer, 40, of Wright City, damaged nine trailers at , 79 North Central Drive, on March 13 by stripping wires from the buildings. Officials said the wire was valued at $513. Damage to the trailers was estimated at $963.
Spencer faces stealing and first-degree property damage charges.

He told police he stole the wire to support his heroin addiction, according to the police report.
Bond was set at $10,000, cash only.
