Mugs in the News: The Faces that Made This Week's Crime Headlines

The following mug shots were taken from various Patch crime reports between June 16 through June 22.

Information for Mugs in the News is provided by the  and St. Louis County law enforcement agencies. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions taken on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. If you or a family member are charged or cited and the case is subsequently adjudicated, we encourage you to notify the editor. We will verify and report the outcome.

A fine group of outstanding citizens! America is quickly declining just like ancient Rome. These folks look like good candidates for Dinner with Barack.

How about "WINNERS IN THE NEWS"??...MUGS IN THE NEWS shows us photos of the people who are down and out and have given up on life...They deserve the sentences that they will receive for their crimes. For every "Mug In The News" there are many more "Winners In The News" but sadly this is not what we talk about. I appreciate that the O'Fallon Patch also focuses on the good folks in our community who volunteer their time to make life better for those in need. How about a weekly recognition of "Winners In The News"? That's what we need to hear and see and read.

Good point, Jim. I think we have news about winners every day, either written by a Patch editor or submitted by a contributor in a blog or announcement. Maybe a weekly roundup would be nice.

Seriously ??? The Barack comment was uncalled for. It would be better so say that "these folks are good candidates for prayer".

I agree Jim :)
