O'Fallon DWI Patrol Leads to Four Arrests

Police patrolled O'Fallon roads for impaired drivers in November.

Four people were arrested for driving intoxicated in O'Fallon during the month of November.

 cracked down on drunk driving on city roadways, conducting several DWI Saturation Patrols, with officers working 4-hour overtime shifts. 

A total of 27 citations were issued during the 49 traffic stops conducted by O'Fallon officers during peak DWI offense times.

According to police, in addition to four drunk driving arrests, one suspect was arrested for driving on a revoked or suspended license and a fugitive was taken into custody on unrelated charges.

Funding for the DWI Saturation Patrol was provided by two grants from the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Division in cooperation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Missouri Safety Center.
