O'Fallon Man Arrested After Leading Troopers on 118 MPH Chase

Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper clocked Joseph Stisi speeding through St. Peters and O'Fallon on his motorcycle.

An O’Fallon man is being charged after fleeing at upwards of 118 mph on his motorcycle from Missouri State Highway Patrol officers.

Joseph R. Stisi, 19, of O’Fallon is being charged with resisting arrest and creating serious risk of injury. On April 3, a trooper attempted to stop Stisi for speeding after his radar showed Stisi was going 118 mph on westbound Interstate 70 near the Cave Springs exit.

Stisi changed lanes in front of other vehicles, causing them to hit their brakes, and drove on the I-70 shoulder to evade police, according to a state trooper’s report. He exited I-70 at Mid Rivers Mall Drive where he turned north and then west onto North Service Road.
