O'Fallon Man Injured After Car Overturns in Accident on I-70

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

An O'Fallon man suffered minor injuries in a car crash on westbound I-70 earlier this week. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Zackery R. Forshee, 20, O'Fallon, was traveling westbound on I-70 at 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, when he attempted to change lanes and failed to noticed a stopped car. 

The report states the front left of his 2011 Chevrolet Silverado struck the right rear of a 2002 Jeep Liberty driven by Garrett T. Nixon, 29, O'Fallon. Nixon's car overturned and Pattonville Fire District Ambulance transported him to DePaul Hospital with minor injuries.

According to the report, both drivers were wearting safety belts and both cars were totaled.
