O'Fallon Man Injured in Accident on Chesterfield Airport Road

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon.

An O'Fallon man was injured after a car accident on Chesterfield Airport Road on Wednesday. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Scott Willbrand, 26, O'Fallon, was traveling westbound on Chesterfield Airport Road in a 2002 Chrysler Sebring at 3:18 p.m. on Wednesday.

The report states Willbrand failed to yield at a red light and struck the left side of a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Vince Kaimann, 33, Old Monroe, who was traveling southbound on Spirit of St. Louis Boulevard

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Willbrand suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.
