Two teams of officers worked for four-hours on April 24 at the intersections of Veteran’s Memorial Parkway at Bryan Road and Highway K at Highway N. According to police, these intersections are both high violation areas and in the top five for intersections with the highest number of crashes.

During the detail, officers conducted 35 traffic stops, issuing 26 red light or failure to yield right of way on green light violations. One person was charged with driving when license revoked.

What a bunch of BS. I used to be for the enforcements which are not a bad idea, sure better than red light cameras, however the most amount of accidents are not at Hwy K and N nor at VMP and Bryan Rd. They fail to enforce really high accident intersections of, O'Fallon Road and Hwy K, Fallon Parkway and Hwy K, Hutchinson Farms and Hwy K, Feisie and Hwy K, Waterbury Falls and Hwy K, where many major injuries have occurred.
