O'Fallon Police Seek Public Help With Recent Rash of Vacant Home Burglaries

O'Fallon Police ask that anyone witnessing suspicious activity near a vacant home in O'Fallon contact the department, at (636) 240-3200.

The O’Fallon Police Department is requesting the publics help after a rash of vacant home burglaries during the past month.

According to police, the exact dates of the thefts are unknown since the homes are unoccupied. Thieves are targeting copper pipes in basements.

  • Two in the 100 block of Country Life Dr.

O’Fallon Police ask that anyone witnessing suspicious activity near a vacant home in O’Fallon contact the department, at (636) 240-3200.

Police ask residents take the extra time to observe the activity and write down any important information, such as suspect’s physical descriptions, car descriptions and license plates.

According to police, observing the suspicious activity can be done from the safety of your home without the person(s) knowing they are being watched. They advise not to confront anyone.
