O'Fallon Police Stats for March: Warrants, Animal Control, Traffic
In March, 78 warrants resulted in 70 arrests for the O'Fallon Police Department.
The O'Fallon Police Department submitted its March report during the April 25 meeting of the O'Fallon City Council.
Warrant Officer Rick Patten reported that in March, 78 warrants were cleared by arrests. Of those:
- 70 arrests resulted in $60,400 in bond collection
- 8 arrests were either released on recognizance or surety, and no bond money was collected
Another 19 arrests consisted of:

- 11 custodial warrant arrrests
- 2 fugitive-only arrests
- 6 wanted arrests
For those suspects, eight other fugitive warrants were identified from other agencies.
The traffic division reported the following for March:

- 984 traffic tickets
- 607 warnings
- 36 DUI/DWI
- 1,330 traffic stops
- 137 vehicle accidents
- no fatal traffic accidents reported
Animal Control submitted the following report:
- 2 animal control tickets
- 9 animal control warnings
- 87 animal calls
The 87 animal calls included:
- 5 bite cases
- 10 animals killed on roadways
- 6 peace disturbances due to animals
- 2 traps used by residents
- 4 calls of checking on the welfare of an animal
- 3 calls for wildlife trapped
- 22 dogs taken to kennel
- 8 cats taken to kennel
- 21 animals claimed by their owners
- 2 dogs euthanized
- 7 cats euthanized
- no animals were adopted
- no animals were put into foster homes
- no animals were sent to rescue orginizations
