O'Fallon Crime Blotter March 31-April 6

Shoplifting and stolen sprinkler backflow valves top the list of crimes reported in O'Fallon this past week. 

March 31

• A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 100 block of Progress Point.
• A soda was stolen on the 1300 block of Highway K. The juvenile suspect was released to a parent. 

April 1

• A vehicle was reported stolen on the 700 block of Wayland Drive. 
• A sprinkler backflow preventer was reported stolen on the 1300 block of Avondale Spring Drive. 
• A ladder was reportedly stolen from a vehicle on the 500 block of Eggering Drive. 
• Bicycles were reported stolen on the 1000 block of Boardwalk Springs Place. 
• An iPod was reported stolen with no damage to enter the vehicle on the 1300 block of Highway K. 

April 3 

• A 19-year-old and 17-year-old O'Fallon male were issued summons for shoplifting at the 1400 block of Mexico Loop Road East. 
• A sprinkler backflow preventer was reported stolen. 
• On the 200 block of Casalon Dr., a purse was reported stolen with entry gained through an unsecured back door. 
• Tools were reported stolen from an unsecured shed on Oak Creek Drive. 

April 4

• A sprinkler backflow preventer was reported stolen on the 100 lock of Abington Dr. 
• Licence plates were reportedly stolen on the 500 block of Duke William Court. 

April 5

• Two ladders were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 800 block of Midpoint Drive. 
• Extension cords were reported stolen in O'Fallon Square. 
• Clothing and shoes were reported stolen from the 2100 block of Highway K. 
• A lawn ornament was reported stolen on the 600 block of Hawk Run Drive. 
• Bicycles were reported stolen on the 7900 block of Oakfield Drive. 

April 6

• A vehicle was reported stolen on the 300 block of Tyndale Drive. 
• A backflow preventer was reported stolen on the 500 block of Willow Valley Drive. 
• Cash was reported stolen on the 100 block of West Pitman Street. 
• A burglary attempt was reported on Aspen Pointe Drive, but no entry was gained or items were stolen. 
• A 33-year-old Lake Saint Louis woman was taken into custody for shoplifting food on the 2900 block of Highway K.
