O'Fallon Crime Blotter: Wallets, Purses Reported Stolen from Shopping Carts

Aug. 8

  • Computer equipment and medication were reportedly stolen from a house on the 1300 block of Shallow Lake Drive. No damage to enter was reported. 
  • Stereos were reported stolen from two undamaged cars on the 2200 block of May Wine Lane. 
  • A backflow valve was reported stolen on the 1200 block of Twinleaf Circle. 
  • A lawnmower and tools were reported stolen on the 200 block of Church Street. There was no damage to enter reported. 
  • Keys were reported stolen from an unlocked car on the 1100 block of Spring Orchard Drive. 
  • A summons was issued for a gas drive-off reported on the 700 block of Highway K. 
  • A diaper bag containing a cellphone and a wallet was reported stolen after being left in a cart on the 1300 block of Highway K. 
  • Speakers, a receiver and a dash kit were reported stolen on Breezy Point Lane at Merribrook Lane. 
  • An iPod, cigarettes and alcohol were reportedly stolen fron an unlocked car on the 6400 block of Windy Wheat Drive. 
  • A gas drive-off was reported on the 2900 block of Highway K. 

Aug. 9

  • A wallet was reported stolen from a shopping car on the 1300 block of Highway K. 
  • A burglary was reported on the 3100 block of Country Field Drive. According to police, a garage door was damaged to enter. Light fixtures and an air conditioning compressor were damaged. 
  • A radio and change were reported stolen from three unlocked cars on the 1100 block of Meadowsweet Drive.

  • A credit card and money were reported stolen from an undamaged car on the 2600 block of Tri Sports Drive.
