O"Fallon Man Charged with Stealing Electronics

Zachary Filanda was charged on June 22 with entering two O'Fallon homes and taking a camera and video game system.

A 22-year-old O'Fallon man was charged on June 22 with entering two O'Fallon homes and taking electronics and video games in late May. 

Zachary Filanda, of the 300 block of Birmingham Drive in O'Fallon, entered a building in the 400 block of Sunset Lane in O'Fallon, and stole a camera and a digital game, according to a probable cause statement.

Fildana also is charged with entering a house in the 100 block of Westridge Drive in O'Fallon through an unlocked front door around the same time as the burglary on Sunset Lane. He is charged with stealing a Sony Playstation 3 game.

According to the probable cause statement, Fildana gave a full written confession admitting to the burglaries to support a drug habit. 

He's charged with two counts of burglary in the second degree, a felony, and two counts of stealing, a misdemeanor. Bond was set at $20,000.
