Update: O'Fallon Man Ejected From Car on I-270

An O'Fallon man was seriously injured on I-270 when he was ejected from a car's sunroof.

An O'Fallon man was seriously injured early Wednesday on I-270. Jeffrey Morrissey, 21, was ejected from the passenger seat and out of the sunroof of a 2010 Toyota Camry, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Alex Abrams, 30, of St. Charles was allegedly driving the car at 1:22 a.m. on June 20. The Highway Patrol's report indicates Morrissey was standing in the sunroof when Abrams lost control. Morrissey was then ejected from the vehicle.

KMOV-TV reported Abrams was arrested for DWUI and felony assault charges.
