O'Fallon Police DWI Patrol Leads to Eleven Arrests

Over the weekend, police patrolled O'Fallon roads for impaired drivers.

Eleven people were arrested for driving while intoxicated over the past weekend in O'Fallon.

partnered with the  to conduct a DWI Checkpoint on the southbound lanes of Bryan Road near White Magnolia Drive from 10:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. on Friday Sept. 16. 

A total of 680 vehicles were checked during detail. Police say the goal of the checkpoint was remove impaired drivers from area roads and educate motorists on the dangers of driving impaired.
