O'Fallon Police Request Help Finding Dog That Bit Boy

Police and O'Fallon's Animal Control Division, are attempting to verify the dog is up to date on rabies vaccinations.

The is asking the public for help finding a dog that bit a 9-year-old boy earlier this week. 

Police say the boy was bitten on Tuesday morning near the intersection of Dona Jane and Collier in O’Fallon.  The bite was not reported until that afternoon, and police along with O'Fallon's Animal Control Division, are attempting to identify the dog  to verify it is up to date on rabies vaccinations.

The dog was described as a yellow Labrador, approximately 65 to 75 pounds.

Police request anyone with information call 636-240-3200 and notify dispatch to be transferred to Animal Control.
