O’Fallon Teen Killed in Weekend Car Crash
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, one teen was killed and one suffered minor injuries in an accident on Route P.
An O’Fallon teenager was killed in a car crash Saturday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ashlyn J. Malotte, 16, was driving eastbound on Route P, two-tenths of a mile east of Lindsay Lane, when she lost control of her car on the wet pavement around 8:40 p.m. Saturday.
The 2001 Ford Focus traveled off the left side of the roadway, andstruck a highway sign. The left side of the car struck a utility pole and overturned.

Malotte was killed in the crash and was taken to Lonning Mortuary.
Malotte’s passenger, Josephine M. Coleman, 16, of Wentzville suffered minor injuries. St. Charles County Ambulance took her to St. Joseph Health Center.
