An O'Fallon woman was injured during a three-car crash Friday, June 15, 2012.
Erika Warhol, 22, of O'Fallon, lost control of her 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix while traveling eastbound on I-70 and went into the median. Warhol's car struck the cable barriers and continued into the westbound lane.
Deborah Beardall, 37, was the third car involved in a crash on westbound Interstate 70 at mile marker 139. Beardall's 2008 Honda Odyssey was struck by another car causing extensive damage.
Warhol's car struck Beardall's car and another vehicle, a 2003 Freightliner driven by 51-year-old Ronald Hoke. Warhol's car ended up on its top after the collision. The car was totaled.
Beardall and Hoke were uninjured in the crash. Warhol and a passenger, 20-year-old O'Fallon resident Nathan Mann, were transported to University Hospital with moderate injuries.
