O'Fallon Police said they are seeking another suspect in a series of similar burglaries in the same area.

O’Fallon Police arrested one suspect this past weekend in a string of burglaries they believe are related, said Lt. John Neske.

Daniel Halford, 17, of the 900 block of Monterra Drive in O’Fallon, was charged Sunday with one count of second-degree burglary.

According to an O’Fallon police report, Halford kicked in a door in the 100 block of Timber Meadows Drive and stole some jewelry.

Neske said several burglaries in the southwest section of O’Fallon are under investigation.

Police said in the report that Halford went around the neighborhood during the day, knocking on doors. If someone answered, he offered to cut the grass. If no one answered, he would kick in the front or back door, according to the report.
