Police Blotter: Man Caught Stealing Video Game

The following information was supplied by the O'Fallon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.


  • A 26-year-old O'Fallon male was arrested for stealing a video game in the 1300 block of Highway K on April 5. 
  • The victim in the 4300 block of Apple Rock Drive attempted to get a loan and was asked to purchase a gift card for $250 and was instructed to give the gift card number as a good-faith payment. The victim later found out it was a scam.
  • Medication was stolen from a residence at Country Life Drive on April 6.
  • A GPS, charger, and blue tooth system all were stolen form an undamaged vehicle on April 7. 


  • The victim was stuck in the face in the 400 block of Sonderen Street on April 7 and later received medical attention. There have been no arrests and the case is under investigation.
