Police: Keys, Medicine Stolen in Two Burglaries

According to a recent crime log, police also responded to calls of property damage and shoplifting.

Here are some of the recent reports from the O'Fallon Police Department.

Aug. 3

  • A 17-year-old O'Fallon man was issued a summons for allegedly stealing alcohol in the 3000 block of Highway K.
  • A burglary was reported on Creek Branch Court. According to police, keys and an automatic start were stolen from a mudroom connected to the garage. Entry was gained through an open garage and unlocked door leading into the home.
  • A burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Osage Meadows Drive. Police report cigarettes and medicine were stolen from an unlocked car in an open garage.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 800 block of Bryan Road.
  • Police report a camera was stolen on Jessup Drive. According to police, the victim left the device on a bench and it was gone upon their return.
  • Property damage was reported in the 2500 block of Bates Road. A fence was damaged, according to police.
  • Car doors and a lock were reportedly damaged in the 900 of block Ozzie Smith Drive.
