Police: Purse Stolen From Car While Victim Paid for Gas

Here are some of the recent reports from the O'Fallon Police Department.

June 24

• A burglary was reported in the 300 block of Highgrove Place Drive. According to police, computers were stolen and a door was damaged to gain entry.

June 25

• A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked car while the victim was inside paying for gas in the 4700 block of Highway K.
• Dumpsters were reported stolen in the 1500 block of Progress West.
• A juvenile was taken into custody for allegedly stealing a cellphone case in the 1300 block of Highway K.
• Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K. According to police, charcoal was stolen.
• A gas drive-off was reported in the 8600 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway.
