Police: Purses, Sattelite Radio Reported Stolen From Unlocked Cars

According to a recent crime log, police also responded to calls of property damage.

Here are some of the recent reports from the O'Fallon Police Department.

Aug. 6

  • A debit card was reported stolen from an undamaged car in the 6400 block of Long Timber Drive. 
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 1300 block of North Main Street.
  • A wallet was reported stolen from a purse left in an unlocked car in the 300 block of Woodlaw Avenue.

  • A burglary was reported in the 200 block of Sword Lily Drive. According to police, money and a driver's license were stolen from an unlocked car in an open garage. There were also items spray painted nearby.
  • City property was damaged in the 100 block of North Main Street. According to police, a door was damaged.
  • Police responded to an assault in the 8400 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway.
  • A satellite radio and charger were reported stolen from an unlocked car in the 10200 block of Spring Creek Lane.
  • A mailbox was damaged in the 1300 block of Goldenrod Court.
  • According to police, a woman's purse was stolen when she left it unattended in the 100 block of Laura K Center.
