Police: Victim Assaulted With Knife on Oakfield Drive

• A cellphone was reported stolen from a building in the 4300 block of Highway K.
• An attempted burglary was reported in the 100 block of Southernside Lane. According to police, a door was damaged but not entry was made. 
• O'Fallon Police were called to a knife assault in the 8000 block of Oakfield Drive. According to police, the victim was transported to the hospital and in stable condition. There was an arrest, but no charges filed and the investigation is ongoing. 

July 4

• Items were reported stolen from a car in the 1000 block of Tom Ginnever Ave. 
• More items were reported stolen from a car in the 1300 block of Highway K. 
• A hitch was reported stolen in the 1900 block of Pebblebrook Drive. 
• A juvenile was taken into custody for allegedly stealing pens in the 1300 block of Highway K.
