Teen That Lead Police on High-Speed Chase: I Didn't Want to Miss Prom

Daniel Buck began leading police on a high-speed car chase in Wentzville near the Highway 61 and McHugh Road.

A 19-year-old O'Fallon man who led police on a high-speed chase said he was just trying to get to prom—in a hurry.

The chase started because Buck had license plates registered to another car, which had numerous active warrants and was a revoked driver, the report said.
