Incumbents Retain Seats On Fort Zumwalt School Board
Voters elected Barbara Story for a third term and Mike MacCormack for a second term on the board.

Unofficial Election Results from St. Charles County Election Authority:
- Story received about 37 percent of the votes, with 3,352 votes.
- MacCormack received about 22 percent of the votes, with 2,030 votes.
- Michael Swaringim brought in 20.43 percent with 1,850 votes.
- Jim Pepper received 19.56 percent with 1,772 votes.
- Voters submitted 53 write-in votes (0.59 percent).
Story said she is excited and honored to be re-elected for another term on the Fort Zumwalt School Board.

"My number one priority has always been the students and I will continue to work hard to help them receive the best possible education," she said. "While the current financial situation may be difficult, I am confident that together we can get through it and continue to be a district with great distinction."
MacCormack was not immediately available for comment.
Although the ballot read six-year terms for Fort Zumwalt candidates on Tuesday, the board members will serve for three years.
