Texas can sometimes be an odd place. Sometimes we read about some strange things that take place in the Lone Star State. While other times we hear of some good things.
I want to focus on one of the good things that Texas has done in the past. Texas doesn't charge sales tax on necessities. So if you go to a grocery store in Texas, and you buy food items, you don't get taxed on them.
I think this is important. It's hard for families to make ends meet and paying taxes on milk, bread and eggs...simply adds just a little more pressure to the mix.
