I would like to give a shout-out to the lone motorcycle cop I see driving around O'Fallon in this godforsaken heat.
Being a motorcycle cop is hard because you have to wear all your equipment. If you have ever seen a motorcycle cop, he looks like he carries as much equipment as a soldier.
The heat we have faced this summer must make it unbearable. So, I would like to offer thanks to the men and women who have this job. I'm sure you are not shown too much appreciation as you serve and protect but I would just like to say thanks and that we do appreciate you.
