One day I'm going to have enough money to hire a really expensive, highly respected private investigation firm to do some background work on the pillars of our community.
I have that kind of money now mind you, but I have three kids to put through college and I don't want them emerging with college debt.
But at one point I'm going to start putting my dollars to work. I want the real dirt, the things people fear someday will be found out.

I don't know what I would do with that information. Maybe I would just read it and then put it in my safe. Maybe I would leak it to the press and watch all hell break loose. I'm not really sure.
Who would be good targets for this type of fun? Mayors, city leaders, educational leaders, clergy...you know...pillars of the community. A police chief might be fun to check on.

Maybe I wouldn't do this afterall. It would prove to be too depressing. What if I found out horrific stuff about the people we look up to and put our faith in? That would really be a bummer. It would be too much to handle.
Maybe I wouldn't find anything and all of it would prove to be a complete waste of money. Then I would be disappointed.
