My kids must hate the fact that both of their parents are teachers. I mean, there is no way they are going to get away with anything. And for the most part, all three of them have done well in school. Sometimes one of my kids will do something that astounds me.
The other day I found something one of my daughters had written. It's a poem. However, it's more than that. You see, if you read the poem in normal fashion you get one message. But if you read the poem backwards, you get another message.
I wanted to post the poem here on my blog so that others can enjoy it.

Fate is real.
What a joke!

Fate is imaginary.
Things don't happen for a reason.
Who would believe
Everything hinges on insignificant moments
I believe this...
You control nothing.
Do you really believe
All of this matters.
If only you could see
that life is careless.
How can you feel
there is hope.
You're just wasting your time,
Don't let them lie to you and say
You're meant to be happy.
Just wait and see
if you don't believe me
(now read this poem backwards)
