Fort Zumwalt Board Set to Discuss Tax Levy

The Fort Zumwalt School District Board of Education will discuss the 2012-13 tax levy at its regularly scheduled board meeting tonight.

The Fort Zumwalt School District Board of Education will discuss the 2012-13 tax levy at its regularly scheduled board meeting tonight. 

School officials will make a recommendation on what that levy should be, according to the board's meeting agenda.

Last year, school board officials approved a rate that claimed $4.76 per $100 of business and residential property tax, an increase of about 16 cents over the previous levy.
