McDonald’s Raises Funds for Fort Zumwalt Schools Through 'McTeacher’s Nights'

McTeacher's Night takes place at local restaurants beginning Oct. 2, from 4-8 p.m.

Local teachers are trading their grade books in for fries and Big Macs throughout the month of October. 

Local McDonald’s restaurants are teaming up with teachers to help raise money for Fort Zumwalt  and Francis Howell schools on McTeacher's Night. 

McTeacher’s Night is a fundraiser that has provided more than $600,000 to St. Louis and Metro East area schools over the past nine years.

On McTeacher’s Night, schools partner with and help run their local McDonald’s.

Teachers and faculty members work as McDonald’s crew members and a percentage of sales from McTeacher’s Night is given to the school.

Oct. 2. several area schools are participating in McTeacher's Night at their local McDonald's restaurant, including:

  • John Weldon Elementary
  • Ostmann Elementary
  • Dardenne Elementary
  • Crossroads Elementary

  • Westhoff Elementary (taking place Oct. 9)
  • Pheasant Point Elementary (taking place Oct. 16)
  • Lakeview Elementary (taking place Oct. 25)
