St. Dominic Robotics Teams Shine in First Competition
The Junior/Senior Team finished 12th out of 35 with their robot Optimus on Jan. 14.
The Robotics Teams competed in an all-day event at McKendree University on Jan. 14.
The Junior/Senior Team kicked off the day with their robot Optimus, and after five rounds of competition, finished 12th out of a field of 35.
Additionally, the Freshman/Sophomore Team fared well with their robot Kevinn. The Team was in 6th place going into the finals. After a hard fought round that included technical difficulties, they finished 14th out of a field of 35.
