So, you're a snake-oil salesman. Gotcha! I don't ever remember Jesus using essential oils to heal people. People, don't waste your time on this garbage.

I receive my healing every day through a strong belief in God, through an understanding of the Grace he offers to everyone of us, by praying for those in need of healing from pain and disease and by understanding that I am a sinner and that all that I can try to do is walk a path of life of caring and understanding and loving. I fail often but I go to a church to fire me up for the following week with no need for oils and "drops of hope." Attend if you wish and bring your money for purchases, that's what this is about.

Jim, exactly. You're just much better at saying this than I am.

Actually the disciples were sent out and anointed/healed with oils in Mark 6:13 and of course there is James instruction for the elders to anoint those that are sick with oil. Aromatic/Essential oils were well known to the ancients and Israel was a crossroads/trade route with many oils, spices, resins and aromatics going through this area Bdellium (an aromatic resin) was mentioned on equal worth with gold and onyx in Gen 2. The first essential oil blend in Scripture is given in Exodus (about 90% aromatic oils and 10% seed or carrier oils) . . then there is spikenard mentioned in the gospels. . Using authentic/pure essential oils (both ancient and modern) has changed our lives and many many people we know personally. With that said, we welcome folks that are looking for physical and emotional solutions for health that have their basis in God's creation (plants). . It would be best if you stay at home and continue to use your over-the-counter and prescription medicine for long-term health (best wishes for that one). . For the others, we welcome you to experience these wonderful oils . . While there will be a book table with items and resources, the presentation is educational and informative (i.e., no $ needed). . We will have material to send home with you. . So in short, the scripture are filled with examples of the use of oils, they have wonderful uses today, and the presentation is free and intended to be educational. (Thank you Jim for your reply -agree completely!)

Thank you Patty for your well-worded and detailed response. There are always two sides to any discussion and both of us (along with Rich) have had that opportunity. I use no over the counter prescription and never will. At the present time I am working on focusing my diet based upon The Hallelujah Diet written by George Malkmus...I stray from it, as we all do, but my plan to enjoy life is to stay as healthy as possible and to focus my healing on the strength that I receive through prayer and through good common sense in taking care of myself. Best wishes for your efforts. I am off to enjoy my granddaughter play in a soccer tournament and then to church tonight.

Hey Jim. . Yes we know of the Hallelujah diet and agree with it's principles. . We find that essential plant oils are the ideal compliment to raw food based diets that are based on God's creation. As a general truth food and energy are stored in fruit and seeds (though absolutely there's therapeutic and healing value in fruits and vegetables), while the therapeutic value of the plant is in the leaves, bark, stems, flower-petals, etc. There's a a verse in Ezekiel of his vision that the trees of the temple will have fruit for food and their leaves for medicine . . We find that using a raw/natural food diet combined with authentic essential plant oils is a WONDERFUL combination for supporting both physical and emotional health. Our website address for our therapy practice is above. . If you are not able to come, send us an email and we'll be glad to add you to our distribution list for newsletters and classes.
