The 2013 version of the game should have ratings just as high. It's a time for parties and food. While waiting for the game to start, let's get to the bottom of some pressing questions before the big game.

What time does the game start? Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. Central time. Just remember, the day is filled with pre-game shows and plenty of pre-game pomp.

What channel? Super Bowl 47 is on CBS. In St. Louis, that's KMOV Channel 4.

Who is playing? Representing the NFC is the San Francisco 49ers (11-4-1 in the regular season including a tie and a loss to the St. Louis Rams). The AFC champs are the Baltimore Ravens (10-6 in the regular season).

What Super Bowl is this? It's Super Bowl XLVII, or Super Bowl 47. The NFL may end the practice of using Roman numerals in 2016 because it doesn't want to have a Super Bowl L.

Who is the halftime entertainment? Beyonce. A year after a famous one-named singer, Maddona, got the gig, the NFL is going a little younger with Beyonce. No word on if her famous husband, hip-hop icon Jay-Z, will join her on stage. Alicia Keys will be performing the National Anthem.

What's the gambling line? Oddssharks.com has the 49ers as the favorite by either 3.5 or 4 points.
