  • Our traditional camps are designed for a wide variety of conventional interests that include arts & crafts, group games, nature exploration, swimming, field trips and more. Field trips include Bounce U, St. Louis Zoo, Grant's Farm, Aquaport, City Museum, The Magic House, North Pointe Aquatic Center, The Science Center, Wapelhorst Water Park, Bowling, and Chesterfield Aquatic Center. Camps are themed weekly. Our special interest camps are designed to offer activities focused on a particular interest, learning or progressive opportunity while incorporating overall traditional Y camp principals.

St. Charles County Family YMCA Summer Camp

  • Our Traditional Camps are designed for a wide variety of interests. Camp Shady Springs is a daily outdoor program with themes and weekly field trips. Field trips include the City Museum, Zoo, Aquaport Water Park, Busch Stadium, and much more. Activites may include nature exploration, group games, songs, arts and crafts and water activities. Our Special Interest camps offer activities focused on a particular interest such as cheerleading, dance, arts and crafts, outdoor survival, pirates, princesses, science, etc. Our Sports Camps have sessions on basketball, baseball/softball, dodgeball/kickball, fitness, flag football, soccer, volleyball and competitive-style games. Our Aqua Camps are a condensed version of our National YMCA swim lesson program designed to teach swimming techniques, endurance, safety, skill-development, and life-saving techniques.

Hands on History Summer Day Camp

  • This fun, hands-on history day camp will hook your little history buffs and create new ones. Campers will learn frontier skills, pioneer crafts, games and what it took to live on the frontier in Missouri during the 1800's. Activities may include; archery, rope making, miniature paddle boat races, cooking over a fire, candle dipping, farm animals and much more! Sign up your burgeoning historian today.

Summer Fun Day Camp

  • Type of Camp: Weekly Day Camp for children ages 6-14, where children will participate in several types of activities such as sports, art&crafts, cooking, swimming 3 times per week at our Aquatic Centers and a weekly field trip.

  • Sunrise and Sunset Camp is available for an additional fee of $25 per child per week. Sunrise Camp is held from 6:30a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Sunset Camp is held from 3:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. Both of these camps can be added to Summer Fun Camp for only $35 per child per week. Fees are all inclusive of activities, pool and field trip admissions and camp t-shirt. Children are required to bring their own lunch and snacks daily. Let me know if you would like any pictures! St. Charles Parks and Recreation Cooking Camp

  • Children will spend the week learning how to make a new dinner entree and dessert each night. Not only will your chef be cooking themselves dinner, but will learn kitchen safety, measuring skills and how to follow recipes. Chefs will explore healthier meal choices and different ingredients!

  • Cricket is one of the most popular sports in the world and to be a good cricket player, one does not have to be big, fast or strong. It is very similar to baseball and requires only technique, concentration and patience. The MYCA (Missouri Youth Cricket Association) will be conducting these sessions in a very fun and friendly environment under the instruction of Ranjeet Singh, MYCA Cricket Academy Head Coach. All equipment is provided.
