Free Tuesday Concert Features O'Fallon Community, Jazz Band

The concerts series runs through August from 6:30 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday evenings

The and the O'Fallon Jazz Band take the stage on Tuesday for a free concert.

The jazz band opens the show with hits including, Count Basie’s “One O’ Clock Jump, ” “Route 66" and “Mack the Knife Vocal" and more familiar jazz hits. 

The O’Fallon Community Concert Band will take over at 7:50 p.m. The band set list includes, “Victory at Sea,” commemorating the Battle of Midway in 1942, music from the 1997 film, Titanic, and “The Pie in the Face Polka” from the movie, The Great Race, featuring the band’s clarinet section.

The have new hours this season and are scheduled to run from 6:30 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday evenings, June through August.

Residents are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the sounds of local bands this summer. According to a news release from the city, coolers are welcome but they are subject to inspection.

Concert goers can also enjoy concessions and an ADA-accessible playground,  Jammin’ is sponsored by the O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Department with support from local businesses.
