The Varsity Football team defeated Washington 49 - 9 on Friday night. The Panthers racked up all 49 points in the 1st half, as they rushed for 316 yards and passed for 177 yards. Brenden Pierce completed 7 of 8 passes for two touchdowns, one to Tre' Johnson and one to Camren Fullerton. Offensive leaders were Tre' Johnson with 130 yards of total offense and two scores, Camren Fullerton with 130 yards total offense and three scores, and Sam Bartlett with 80 yards receiving. On the defensive side of the ball, Justin Fitzpatrick had 5 tackles and 2 interceptions, Kory Morton has 9 tackles, and Jeremy Davidson had 8. As a team FZN held Washington to almost 20 points below their season average per game.
The 6 - 1 Panthers will travel to 6 - 1 Ladue this Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled at 1:00 pm.
